Dear Friends of the MST,

We write to let you know that Almir Silva Xavier and Everaldo Miguel Oliveira, MST rural workers and human rights defenders, have been jailed in the town of Águas Belas, state of Pernambuco, since February the 1st.

Please join others in sending letters of support to the judge and prosecutor's office in question.
