It&#039;s also a meal. A UN meeting is currently debating &lt;a href=&quot;http://www.scoop.co.nz/stories/WO0802/S00211.htm&quot;&gt;the merits of edible insects&lt;/a&gt;. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Now, I&#039;d normally file this under &lt;em&gt;humour&lt;/em&gt; were it not for the fact that, well, actually, I&#039;d not mind eating insects (if  they turned out to taste any good).
